Ideas and Suggestions / Re: Capital ships humans-aliens
« on: February 16, 2018, 09:14:57 AM »
Thanks for the support!

To answer your first question. We do have ships that are larger than the fighters which are the "Corvettes". They are much slower in handling, but pack quite a punch with their multiple turret mounts as well as larger weapons you can use to destroy some Silicoids! Check out our development update here showing them off!

Larger capital ships will come at a later date when Humanity has progressed it's technology a bit more and gets ready to spread out into space (DLC is planned)

Electronic warfare is planned and we will look at sharing more info on that at a later date.

Be sure to sign up for our newsletter and you'll get the latest information updates on development!

No worries, your English is fine :).

We don't believe in an RNG loot drop system as we feel that it pulls Players out from the immersion factor and reinforces a more "gambling style" reward, rather than a hard work pay off. However there is still RNG, but the RNG is primarily going to be part of which encounters will be spawned against you. This works more in favor to the player as the weighted RNG will spawn specific encounters that will have asteroids with specific minerals that can be mined (Iron, Platinum, Titanium, etc.), or specific aliens that will have their own specific corpses and resources from those you can obtain (Silicoid aliens, Crystalline aliens, etc.).

Anything that is considered "Rare" can be found by exploring and finding the specific easter eggs hidden, and may be revealed at certain times during the campaign. We wish you luck in finding them all!

Other Gaming / Xcom 2 and Long War
« on: July 11, 2017, 09:47:19 AM »
It's kinda no secret that I love this game. And with the Long War 2 mod that came out... Geeze. Steam says I now have 435 hours playing this... lol. Especially handy with the vast amount of Mods for the game, I totally recommend this to anyone who's into strategy games.

My only 2 complaints with the regular campaign are;

1) The difficulty tends to drop off in the later half when you've done tons of technology upgrades to make your units into super soldiers and you start to walk through enemies like they're nothing

2) Squad size for me is really small. 4 Units to start and 6 max?? I remember the 90s Xcom when you could have like 14 and more soliders running around.

Mods completely fix this like Long War. Totally worth your time checking out.

Picked up Horizon about 2 weeks ago, and I have to say I'm pretty impressed. I really love how they built a really neat universe around robotic dinosaurs and creatures.

Since I'm also a huge fan of Archery, this pretty much played into a fun little fantasy of shooting and killing robots with a bow. With that being pretty ridiculous, I especially wondered why weapons like the "Trip" caster was a Cross bow, but you never used it for shooting direct bolts at a target. Clearly a crossbow has much more potential energy than the recurves you get. But what ever, it's the Archer in me that wonders why she didn't have a compound bow. Oh well.

Gorgeous graphics and animations (except for the lip sync). Very pretty game. Fun addictive gameplay to come along too, however I found that the difficulty fell off after the first 1/3rd of the game.

7.5/10 for me over all.

Not quite something like this with discovering lost civilizations, however there will be wrecks of other technology that you'll be able to discover.

One thing I should also note too is that with the PDI, you'll see everything that's in orbit around Earth. But since of course things are pretty small, you'll have to look closely to find things as they won't have a marker in the PDI (but may show up on your ship's radar when you're close enough :))

Happy treasure hunting!
